Learn How to Change Password in User Manager – cPanel. The User Manager interface allows you to manage your Subaccounts. Subaccounts use the same login and password information for email, FTP, and Web Disk services. To update an account’s security credentials change password.
- Login to cPanel
Tutorial: login from the Client Area or from the direct link.
Find the Preferences section and click the User Manager link. - User Manager
Click the Change Password button next to the account in the User Manager page listing.
- Change Password
You should see the editing page on your account.
Type the new password twice or generate a random password with the Generate button.
Password must have at least 8 characters, must contain at least three character categories among the following:
Uppercase characters (A-Z),
Lowercase characters (a-z),
Digits (0-9),
Special characters (~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|(){}[]:;”‘<>,.?/) - Click the Save button.
