Manage Themes using the WordPress Toolkit – cPanel

Learn how to Manage Themes using the WordPress Toolkit in cPanel. A WordPress theme determines the overall design of your website including colors, fonts, and layout. By selecting a different theme, you change the look and feel of your website without changing the content. With WordPress Toolkit, you can install and manage themes.

Tutorial – Install Themes using the WordPress Toolkit

  1. WordPress Toolkit

    Login to cPanel.
    Tutorial: login from the Client Area or the direct link.

    Find the Domains section and click the WordPress Toolkit link.
    or
    In the search bar at the Top, type WordPress Toolkit and click on the result.

    Locate the WordPress Installation where you want to manage Themes, and then click Themes Tab.

  2. List of installed Themes

    To install a new Theme on the website, click the +Install button.

  3. Plugins and Themes Window – Themes tab

    Find the Theme you want to install and click the Install button next to it.

    Wait for the success message – Installed.

Tutorial – Change state of Themes using the WordPress Toolkit

  1. Select the Theme and click the toggle in the State column to activate the Theme.

2. The chosen Theme is activated, and The previously Active Theme has been deactivated automatically.

Tutorial – Delete Theme using the WordPress Toolkit

  1. In the Themes tab, select the Theme and click the Trash icon next to it.

2. In the pop-up window click the Yes button to delete the Theme.

Tutorial – Autoupdate Themes using the WordPress Toolkit

  1. Click the toggle next to the Autoupdate all themes to enable autoupdate for all Themes.

2. Autoupdate is enabled for all themes.
You can easily disable it by clicking the toggle next to the Autoupdate all themes.

You can also change the Autoupdate for the individual Theme:
Click the toggle in the Autoupdate column next to the selected Theme.
