Manage Plugins using the WordPress Toolkit – cPanel

Learn how to Manage Plugins using the WordPress Toolkit in cPanel. A WordPress plugin is a type of third-party software that adds new functionality to WordPress. With WordPress Toolkit, you can install and manage plugins on one or more WordPress instances.

Tutorial – Install Plugins using the WordPress Toolkit

  1. WordPress Toolkit

    Login to cPanel.
    Tutorial: login from the Client Area or the direct link.

    Find the Domains section and click the WordPress Toolkit link.
    or
    In the search bar at the Top, type WordPress Toolkit and click on the result.

    Locate the WordPress Installation where you want to manage plugins, and then click Plugins Tab.

  2. List of installed plugins

    To install a new plugin on the website, click the +Install button.

  3. Plugins and Themes Window – Plugins tab

    Find the plugin you want to install and click the Install button next to it.

    Wait for the success message – Installed.

Tutorial – Autoupdate Plugins using the WordPress Toolkit

  1. Click the toggle next to the Autoupdate all plugins to enable autoupdate for all plugins.

2. Autoupdate is enabled for all plugins.
You can easily disable it by clicking the toggle next to the Autoupdate all plugins.

You can also change the Autoupdate for the individual Plugin:
– Click the toggle in the Autoupdate column next to the selected Plugin.

Tutorial – Delete Plugins using the WordPress Toolkit

  1. In the Plugins tab, select the plugin and click the Trash icon next to it.

2. In the pop-up window click the Yes button to delete the plugin.

Tutorial – Change state of Plugin using the WordPress Toolkit

  1. Select the plugin and click the toggle in the State column to activate or deactivate the plugin.
