Step-by-step tutorial – Use MySQL Database Wizard in cPanel

  1. MySQL Database Wizard

    Login to cPanel.
    Tutorial: login from the Client Area or the direct link.

    Find the Databases section and click the MySQL Database Wizard link.

  2. Srep 1: Create A Database

    New Database
    Type a name for the database.
    A database name may contain a maximum of 64 characters.
    Click the Next Step button.

  3. Step 2: Create Database Users

    Username
    – type the MySQL username.
    Password
    – type the user password.
    Type a secure password in the Password text box. It must contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. The system will evaluate the password that you enter on a scale of 100. A weak password has 0 value, while a very secure password has 100 value. Or you can click Password Generator to let the system create a secure password for you. 
    Password (Again)
    – retype the user password.
    Click the Create User button.

  4. Step 3: Add user to database.

    Select the privileges you want to grant the user or click ALL PRIVILEGES to give the user all permissions to the database.

  5. Click the Make Changes button.

  6. Step 4: Complete the Task

    Get the success message.
    The process is finished.
