Mailing List Delegation – Client Area

Learn how to Delegate Mailing Lists in the Client Area. You can delegate managing rights on a mailing list to specified list members. Delegates can approve messages that await approval.

Delegation comes with security risks because delegation grants the virtual user administration rights to the mailing list. These high privileges can take over the main account. Use this functionality only with users that you trust.

  1. Log in to Client Area.

    You can log in to Your Client Area by going to this link.
    Once you have logged into your Client Area click the Services green button.
    In the My Products & Services table, find your hosting service and click the Manage button.
    Scroll down the page until the Manage Account title, then choose the Mailing Lists button.

  2. Current Lists

    Locate the mailing list that you want to manage.
    Click the second icon Edit Delegates.

  3. Create Delegate

    Click the button + Create Delegate.
    Emails
    Select Email Accounts from the drop-down box.
    Click Create button.

  4. Delete Delegate.

    In the delegate list, choose delegate Email and click the Delete icon.
    Click Confirm button.
