Image Thumbnailer – cPanel

Learn how to use Image Thumbnailer – cPanel. The Images interface allows you to modify and manage images that you saved to your account. An image thumbnail is just a smaller version of a larger image file. The thumbnail typically serves as either a link to the larger image or a smaller representation in a preview or excerpt.

Step-by-step tutorial – use Image Thumbnailer – cPanel

  1. Images

    Login to cPanel.
    Tutorial: login from the Client Area or the direct link.

    Find the Files section and click the Images link.

    Click the Thumbnailer link.

  3. Thumbnail button

    Locate the folder where the image files you wish to thumbnail are located.
    Click the Thumbnail button next to it.

  4. Images Thumbnailer

    Scale Percent
    Enter the percentage value for the width and height of the thumbnails.
    Keep Aspect Ratio
    Check this box to avoid stretching or distorting the image when the size is reduced.
    Reset Dimensions
    You can reset the image to the original size by clicking this button.

    Click the Thumbnail Images button.

  5. Wait for the success message

  6. File Manager

    Go to cPanel Home and open File Manager to see the newly created thumbnails.
    The cPanel creates a new thumbnails directory.
