MailScanner – MailControl – cPanel

Learn how to Use MailScanner MailControl in cPanel. Powerful tool for you to Control and Manage email Scanning for SPAM and Viruses, direct from cPanel. With MailControl you can check the emails flagged Low Spam, High Spam, Infected and Blacklisted.

  1. Login to cPanel

    Tutorial: login from the Client Area or the direct link.

    Find Email section and click the MailScanner link.
    Open MailControl by clicking on the MailControl button.

  2. MailControl

    Check the emails flagged Low Spam, High Spam, Infected and Blacklisted.

    Low Spam Score Setting = 5
    High Spam Score Setting = 10
    Spam Score = Rule that will be applied
    1 – 5 = Messages that will not be flagged/marked as spam and will be delivered normally.
    6 – 9 = Messages that will be flagged/marked as low scoring spam and will apply the handling rule you have defined
    10+ = Messages that will be flagged/marked as high scoring spam and will apply the handling rule you have defined


    Click the Menu button for additional options.
    Search Messages
    Statistic
    Attachment Emails
    Other settings

    When finished Click the Back to MailScenner Configuration button.
