Learn How to Delete Site Publisher Website in cPanel. You can use the Site Publisher feature to create a temporary website while you create a permanent one with other publishing tools, such as WordPress. When your new website is ready, you will need to remove the Site Publisher-generated website.

Step-by-step tutorial – Delete Site Publisher Website – cPanel
- Site Publisher
Login to cPanel.
Tutorial: login from the Client Area or the direct link.
Find the Domains section and click the Site Publisher link.
- Select a Domain
Open the Website Directory link for the domain or subdomain that uses Site Publisher.
- File Manager
Select the following directories and files:
assets
COPYRIGHT
images
index.html
LICENSE.txt
sitemap.xml
Click the Delete link in the Task Bar.
- Trash Window
Trash Window:
Skip trash and permanently delete the files
Check the box If you want to delete files permanently.
Leave the box unchecked if you want files to go into the trash to be manually deleted later.
Click Confirm to delete files.
- Configurations
Site Publisher will also create a directory named site_publisher in your home directory containing backups and configuration files.
It doesn’t hurt to leave this here, especially if you want a backup of your old Site Publisher page, but feel free to delete this directory the same way as explained above if you desire. Or just delete subdirectory configurations .json file.
