Step-by-step tutorial – Create Error Pages in cPanel

  1. Login to cPanel.

    Tutorial: login from the Client Area or the direct link.

    Find Advanced section and click the Error Pages link.

  2. Error Pages

    Step 1 – Select Domain to Manage Error Pages
    Managing
    Select the domain you want to manage the error pages from the drop-down menu.
    Step 2 – Edit Error Pages for the selected domain.
    Edit Common Error Codes – Tab
    – Click the Error from the Common Error list.

    Show all HTTP Error Status Codes – Tabs
    – Click the Error from All Error list.

  3. Edit Error Page

    Select Tags to Insert:
    You can use the links above the editor to insert variables into the code for dynamic content.
    Type the HTML code for the chosen error page in the editor.

  4. Once finished, click the Save button.

  5. Wait for the success message.

Delete Error Pages in cPanel

Find File section and click the File Manager link.

Find the created Error Page in the public_html folder of the chosen domain.

Delete the error .shtml file from the folder, in this case, 404.shtml.
